Cllr Matthew Parker -

Town Mayor

I was very honoured on Tuesday 22nd September to be elected Mayor of Verwood and Three Legged Cross until May 2021. I am looking forward to working on behalf of everyone. Hopefully, in these strange times, I will be able to attend some events in the area when restrictions allow.
During my time as Mayor I will be looking at ways of raising funds for all our 5 local schools to go towards their IT equipment and library books. In addition, part of the funds will be donated to the local support group for the National Association for Crohn’s and Colitis.
I have lived in Verwood with my wife Jodi, and my three children, since 2006 and I am pleased to be able to give something back to the community.
