I was born and brought up in London where I went to school and then university.
From 1972, when I moved to Dorset, until 2005, when I took early retirement, I worked as a Software Engineer for BAE Systems at Christchurch (formerly Plessey, then Siemens).
I have lived in Three Legged Cross with Vic Redpath since 1974.
I am interested in learning foreign languages and using them when on holiday in Europe.
We have a sailing boat which we keep at Christchurch during the summer and use most weekends and for short holidays when we have time.
I served as Town Mayor in 2006 and Deputy Mayor in 2017
